However, in recent years, some embassies in Thailand have stopped issuing income certification letters for their citizens.

Embassies of the following countries in Thailand cannot issue income certificates:
- United States, United Kingdom: do not certify either income or marriage registration.
- Norway: does not certify income.

- Prepare the required documents as specified by your embassy — such as income statements, pension documents, or recent bank statements.
It is recommended to request an income verification letter from your home country before coming to Thailand.
Or use the bank deposit requirement instead of the income requirement.
