การบินไทยประกาศใช้กฎสัมภาระใหม่ “Piece Concept”
เริ่มใช้กับตั๋วที่ออกตั้งแต่ 25 พฤศจิกายน 2568 และเดินทางตั้งแต่ 2 มีนาคม 2569
การบินไทย (THAI) ประกาศปรับนโยบายสัมภาระเช็คอินครั้งสำคัญ เพื่อยกระดับประสบการณ์การเดินทางและสร้างมาตรฐานเดียวกับสายการบินชั้นนำทั่วโลก โดยเปลี่ยนจากระบบเดิม Weight Concept (คิดตามน้ำหนักรวม) ไปสู่ Piece Concept (กำหนดจำนวนชิ้น + น้ำหนักต่อชิ้น) ในทุกเส้นทางบินของการบินไทย
นโยบายใหม่นี้ช่วยให้สิทธิสัมภาระของผู้โดยสาร ชัดเจน เข้าใจง่าย และรองรับการเชื่อมต่อเที่ยวบินระหว่างสายการบิน ได้อย่างเป็นสากลมากขึ้น

- เส้นทางภายในภูมิภาค (เอเชีย / ออสเตรเลีย / นิวซีแลนด์)
- เส้นทางระหว่างภูมิภาค เช่น
- ยุโรป / แอฟริกา / ตะวันออกกลาง ↔ เอเชีย / ออสเตรเลีย / นิวซีแลนด์
หลังจาก 28 พฤศจิกายน 2568 การบินไทยระบุว่าเครือข่ายบินทั้งหมดจะอยู่ภายใต้นโยบายใหม่เช่นกัน

สิทธิสัมภาระแตกต่างกันตาม “เส้นทาง” และ “ประเภทชั้นโดยสาร”
1) เส้นทางภายในประเทศไทย (Domestic Routes)
ผู้โดยสาร ทุกชั้นโดยสาร ได้รับ 1 ชิ้น โดยน้ำหนักต่อชิ้นขึ้นอยู่กับชั้นโดยสาร

ข้อกำหนดด้านขนาด
- สัมภาระแต่ละชิ้นต้องมีขนาดรวม กว้าง + ยาว + สูง ไม่เกิน 158 เซนติเมตร (62 นิ้ว)
- วิธีวัดคือ วัดทุกด้าน นำมาบวกกัน
- ตั้งแต่ด้ามจับ(ที่หดลงแล้ว) ถึงล้อ หรือส่วนที่ยาวที่สุดในแต่ละด้าน
ประโยชน์ของนโยบายแบบ Piece Concept
- มาตรฐานเดียวกับสายการบินสากลส่วนใหญ่
- สิทธิสัมภาระชัดเจนตามจำนวนชิ้น ลดความสับสน
- รองรับการเชื่อมต่อเที่ยวบินระหว่างสายการบินได้ดีขึ้น
- ลดปัญหากระเป๋าหนักเกินในชิ้นเดียว ทำให้กระบวนการโหลดสัมภาระปลอดภัยขึ้น
- การบริหารสัมภาระของสายการบินทำได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น

THAI Airways Introduces New “Piece Concept” Baggage Policy
Effective for tickets issued from 25 November 2025 and for travel from 2 March 2026 onward
THAI Airways has announced a major update to its checked baggage policy to enhance the travel experience and align with global airline standards. The airline will transition from the current Weight Concept (total weight allowance) to the Piece Concept, which defines baggage allowances based on the number of pieces and weight per piece across all THAI routes.
This new policy provides passengers with clearer, more straightforward baggage entitlements and improves compatibility with international airline partners, ensuring smoother connections throughout their journeys.

Effective Dates for the New Policy
- The new policy applies to all tickets issued / sold / reissued (unused tickets)
- From: 25 November 2025
It applies to actual travel
- From: 2 March 2026 onward
The policy covers the following routes:
- All domestic routes within Thailand
- Intra-regional routes (Asia / Australia / New Zealand)
- Intercontinental routes such as

Baggage Size Requirements
- Each checked bag must not exceed: 158 cm (62 inches) in total dimensions (width + height + length)
- Measure all sides and add them together.
- Include the handle (fully retracted) to the wheels, or the longest point of each side.
