ทำไมต้องเตรียมเอกสาร?

สำหรับผู้ที่เดินทางเข้าประเทศไทย ไม่เกิน 2 ครั้งต่อปี ด้วยฟรีวีซ่า มักไม่พบปัญหาใดเป็นพิเศษ เพราะถือว่าอยู่ในกรอบปกติ แต่ตั้งแต่ปี 2025 เป็นต้นไป ไทยมีนโยบายใหม่เกี่ยวกับฟรีวีซ่า ซึ่ง การเข้าประเทศด้วยฟรีวีซ่าเกิน 2 ครั้ง/ปี โดยไม่มีเหตุผลชัดเจน อาจนำไปสู่การถูกปฏิเสธการเข้าเมือง

ดังนั้น หากมีแผนเดินทางหลายครั้งต่อปี การเตรียมเอกสารให้พร้อมถือเป็นทางเลือกที่ดีที่สุด ช่วยเพิ่มความน่าเชื่อถือและทำให้ขั้นตอนผ่าน ตม. ราบรื่นขึ้น

เอกสารที่ควรเตรียมก่อนเดินทางเข้าไทย

1. แบบฟอร์ม ตม.6 ออนไลน์ (TDAC)

ผู้ถือพาสปอร์ตต่างชาติทุกคน ต้องลงทะเบียนตม.6 (TM6 / TDAC / Arrival Card) ทางออนไลน์ ไม่เกิน 3 วันก่อนผ่านตม.เข้าไทย และจะได้รับ QR code ทันทีหลังกรอกเสร็จ ไม่ต้องรออนุมัติ ฟรี ไม่มีค่าใช้จ่าย ส่วนผู้ถือพาสปอร์ตไทยไม่ต้องลงทะเบียน

2. ตั๋วเดินทางออกจากประเทศไทย

ใช้ยืนยันว่ามีแผนออกจากไทยภายในระยะเวลาที่กำหนด ช่วยเพิ่มความน่าเชื่อถือ เช่น

• ตั๋วเดินทางไปประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน
• ตั๋วบินกลับประเทศต้นทาง

3. ใบวีซ่า (ถ้ามี)

แม้หลายประเทศจะเข้าไทยได้ด้วยฟรีวีซ่า แต่หากผู้เดินทาง ขอวีซ่าท่องเที่ยว TR ล่วงหน้า ก็ถือเป็นแต้มบวกด้านความน่าเชื่อถือ โดยเฉพาะผู้ที่เข้าบ่อยครั้ง

4. หลักฐานการเงิน

• 20,000 – 40,000 บาทต่อคน
• จะเป็นเงินสดหรือยอดเงินในบัญชีธนาคารจากต่างประเทศก็ได้

5. หลักฐานที่พักในไทย

• พักบ้านคนไทย: สำเนาบัตรประชาชน + ทะเบียนบ้านของเจ้าบ้าน
• พักโรงแรม: ใบจองโรงแรม
• พักคอนโด/อพาร์ทเมนต์: สัญญาเช่าหรือหลักฐานการจ่ายเงิน

6. หลักฐานตามวัตถุประสงค์การเดินทาง

• กรณีมาเที่ยว : แผนท่องเที่ยว, ใบจองที่พัก
• กรณีมาเยี่ยมแฟน คู่สมรส ญาติ หรือเพื่อน: หลักฐานความสัมพันธ์
  • คู่สมรส: ทะเบียนสมรส
  • จดหมายเชิญจากเจ้าบ้านคนไทย (ภาษาไทยก็ได้)
  • รูปถ่ายคู่
  • พ่อแม่–ลูก: สูติบัตร / ทะเบียนบ้าน
  • ญาติใกล้ชิด: ทะเบียนบ้านเชื่อมโยงความสัมพันธ์

เอกสารเหล่านี้ไม่ใช่ข้อบังคับ แต่ช่วยให้ ตม. เข้าใจเหตุผลการเดินทางได้ดีขึ้นหากตม.มีข้อสงสัยโดยเฉพาะคนที่เข้าออกบ่อยและอยู่นาน

Why Prepare These Documents?

For travelers who enter Thailand no more than twice a year under the visa-exemption scheme, entry is usually smooth, as this is considered normal travel behavior. However, starting in 2025, Thailand has introduced a new policy: entering the country more than two times per year with visa exemption without a credible reason may result in being denied entry.

Therefore, if you plan to travel to Thailand multiple times a year, preparing supporting documents in advance is the best way to strengthen your credibility and ensure a smoother experience with immigration officers.

Documents You Should Prepare Before Entering Thailand

1. TM6 Online Form (TDAC)

All foreign passport holders are required to register the TM6 (TM6 / TDAC / Arrival Card) online within 3 days before arriving at Thai immigration.
You will receive a QR code immediately after submitting the form—no approval process, completely free of charge.
Thai passport holders do not need to register.

2. Proof of Onward Travel

This confirms that you plan to leave Thailand within the permitted stay period. It also helps strengthen your credibility. Examples include:

• A ticket to a neighboring country
• A return ticket to your home country

3. Visa (if applicable)

Many nationalities can enter Thailand with visa exemption, but applying for a Tourist Visa (TR) in advance can enhance your credibility—especially if you travel in and out frequently.

4. Financial Proof

20,000–40,000 THB per person, either in cash or in a bank account (foreign bank accounts are acceptable).

5. Accommodation Proof in Thailand

• Staying with a Thai host: Copy of their Thai ID card + house registration (Tabien Baan)
• Staying at a hotel: Hotel booking confirmation
• Staying in a condo/apartment: Rental contract or payment receipt

6. Documents Supporting Your Purpose of Travel

For tourism: Travel itinerary, Accommodation bookings

For visiting a partner, spouse, family member, or friend: Provide documents showing your relationship, such as:

• Spouses: Marriage certificate
• Parents–children: Birth certificate / house registration
• Close relatives: House registration showing relationship
• General evidence:
  • Invitation letter from the Thai host (Thai or English is fine)
  • Photos together

These documents are not mandatory, but they can help immigration officers better understand the purpose of your visit—especially for travelers who enter frequently or stay for extended periods.
