วิธีเขียนจดหมายเชิญต่างชาติมาไทย ต้องทำกรณีไหนบ้าง?

จดหมายเชิญที่ชาวไทยเป็นคนเซ็น เป็นเอกสารแสดงที่อยู่ในไทยเพื่อชาวต่างชาติ (ไม่ใช่เอกสารบังคับทุกกรณี) ใช้คู่กับ สำเนาบัตรประชาชน + สำเนาทะเบียนบ้าน ของคนไทยกรณีต่างชาติมาพักบ้านคนไทยแทนการจองโรงแรม

  • สำหรับขอวีซ่าท่องเที่ยว / Non-O : จดหมายเชิญชาวต่างชาติมาค้างบ้านคนไทย ใช้เป็นเอกสารประกอบการขอวีซ่า แทนสัญญาเช่าระยะยาว หรือใบจองโรงแรมได้
  • สำหรับฟรีวีซ่า: สามารถใช้แสดงต่อเจ้าหน้าที่ตรวจคนเข้าเมือง

How to Write an Invitation Letter for a Foreigner to Stay in Thailand

An invitation letter signed by a Thai citizen serves as proof of accommodation in Thailand for foreigners (it is not mandatory in all cases). It is used together with a copy of the Thai citizen’s Thai ID card and House Registration (Tabien Baan) when the foreigner stays at a Thai citizen’s home instead of booking a hotel.

  • For Visa Application: An invitation letter for a foreigner staying at a Thai home can be used as a supporting document instead of a long-term rental contract or hotel booking.
  • For Visa Exemption: It can be shown to immigration officers upon entry.

In some periods, Thai embassies may require it, while in others they may not list it but request it later.
For this reason, preparing an invitation letter in advance is highly recommended.
