How to Get a Thai Work Visa (Non-B) Before Coming to Thailand
If a foreigner wants to work legally in Thailand, the most important first step is getting a Non-Immigrant Visa Type B (Non-B Visa).
Initially, this visa allows a stay of 90 days. During this time, you will get your official Work Permit and extend your visa to 1 year (which can be renewed every year).

You cannot apply for a Non-B visa on your own. You need a job offer first. Your employer in Thailand (a company or a registered business owner) will prepare the paperwork to apply for an essential document called “WP32”.

Can I enter Thailand as a tourist and change to a Non-B visa later?
