2. ตราประทับเข้าลาวคือคีย์เวิร์ดสำคัญ: ทันทีที่ข้ามด่านไปลาว คุณจะต้องถ่ายรูป “ตราประทับเข้าประเทศลาว” เพื่ออัปโหลดเข้าระบบ Thai E-Visa เพื่อเป็นหลักฐานยืนยันว่าตอนนี้เราอยู่นอกประเทศไทยแล้วจริง ๆ (Current Location)
3. ไปเช้า-เย็นกลับ หรือ ต้องนอนค้าง?
- ไปเช้า-เย็นกลับได้: หากคุณยังมีสิทธิ์เดินทางกลับเข้าประเทศไทยได้ตามปกติ (เช่น มีวีซ่าเดิมที่ยังไม่หมดอายุ หรือได้สิทธิ์ยกเว้นวีซ่าเข้าไทย) คุณสามารถเดินทางข้ามไปลาวเพื่อจ่ายเงินค่าธรรมเนียมที่สถานทูตเสร็จแล้ว เดินทางกลับมารอรับวีซ่าทางอีเมลที่ฝั่งไทยได้เลย ไม่จำเป็นต้องนอนค้างที่ลาว

แม้ว่าทุกอย่างจะอัปโหลดผ่านระบบออนไลน์ แต่ขอแนะนำให้ พิมพ์ (Print) สำเนาเอกสารทั้งหมด หรือพกเอกสารตัวจริงติดตัวไปด้วย เผื่อกรณีที่เจ้าหน้าที่สถานทูตขอเรียกตรวจเอกสารเพิ่มเติม โดยเฉพาะคนที่ต้องรอผลอยู่ในลาว เพราะถ้าลืมเอกสารไว้ที่ไทย จะไม่สามารถกลับมาหยิบได้เลยนะ
- หนังสือเดินทาง (Passport)

ให้เข้าไปที่เว็บไซต์หลักของ Thai E-Visa แล้วทำตามขั้นตอนดังนี้
1.สร้างบัญชีผู้ใช้:ทำจากที่ไทยได้.
- สมัครบัญชีผู้ใช้ในระบบให้เรียบร้อย จากนั้นเลือกเมนู Apply New Visa
2.กรอกจุดสำคัญ (Passport & Current Location):ห้ามพลาดเด็ดขาด!.
- Passport: เลือกสัญชาติของผู้ยื่นตามหนังสือเดินทางปกติ
- Current Location (จุดสำคัญที่สุด): ต้องเลือกเป็น Laos เท่านั้น! (ไม่ใช่ประเทศบ้านเกิด และไม่ใช่ประเทศไทย)
3.เลือกสถานที่ยื่นและประเภทวีซ่า:เลือกให้ตรงกับการใช้งาน.
- เลือกสถานทูต: เลือกสถานทูตไทยในลาวที่คุณสะดวกเดินทางไปจ่ายเงิน ซึ่งมี 2 แห่ง คือ เวียงจันทน์ หรือ สะหวันนะเขต
- เลือกประเภทวีซ่า: เลือกเป็น Non-Immigrant Visa
- กรณีคู่สมรสคนไทย: เลือกหัวข้อย่อย To Stay with Thai Family More Than 60 Days
- กรณีเกษียณอายุ: เลือกหัวข้อย่อย Retirement
4.กรอกที่อยู่และอัปโหลดตราประทับลาว:ต้องทำหลังจากข้ามไปฝั่งลาวแล้ว.
- ที่อยู่ปัจจุบัน (Current Address): ให้ระบุเป็นที่อยู่โรงแรมหรือที่พักในประเทศลาวที่คุณไปพัก (ระบบไม่ได้ขอหลักฐานบุ๊กกิ้ง แต่ต้องกรอกให้ชัดเจน)
- ที่อยู่ถาวร (Permanent Address): ติ๊กเพิ่มช่องที่อยู่ถาวร แล้วกรอกที่อยู่ในประเทศบ้านเกิดของคุณ
- อัปโหลดตราประทับ: นำรูปถ่ายตราประทับเข้าประเทศลาว (และวีซ่าลาว ถ้ามี) อัปโหลดลงในหัวข้อ Document Indicating Current Location
5.ตรวจสอบและกดส่งใบสมัคร:เช็กข้อมูลให้ถ้วนถี่.
- เมื่อกรอกข้อมูลและอัปโหลดเอกสารประกอบอื่น ๆ จนครบถ้วนแล้ว ให้กดส่งใบสมัครได้เลย
6.ดาวน์โหลดใบนัดหมายเพื่อไปจ่ายเงิน:ต้องไปชำระที่สถานทูต.
- หลังกดส่ง ระบบจะให้เลือกวิธีชำระเงิน ซึ่งจะไม่มีช่องทางออนไลน์สำหรับฝั่งลาว แต่ระบบจะออก “เอกสารนัดหมายการชำระเงิน” มาให้ดาวน์โหลด
- เอกสารนี้จะระบุสถานที่ชำระเงิน แต่ ไม่ได้ระบุวันและเวลา
- สามารถถือเอกสารนี้ไปชำระเงินที่สถานทูตไทยในลาว (แห่งที่คุณเลือกไว้) ได้ทันที

เวลาเปิดรับชำระเงิน: สถานทูตเปิดรับชำระเงินเฉพาะเวลา 10.00 – 12.00 น. เท่านั้น! ควรวางแผนเดินทางไปถึงก่อนเวลาปิดทำการ

The Thai Immigration Bureau recommends traveling to a neighboring country to apply. Laos is the most popular, convenient, and easiest choice for this process.

1. Check Laos Visa Rules: Most foreigners need a visa to enter Laos. However, you can easily get a Visa on Arrival (VOA) at the border or airport. (Please double-check the latest rules for your nationality before leaving).
2. The Laos Entry Stamp is Key: As soon as you cross into Laos, you must take a photo of your Laos Entry Stamp. You will need to upload this photo to the Thai E-Visa system to prove you are currently outside of Thailand.
3. Should You Do a Same-Day Trip or Stay Overnight?
- Same-Day Trip: If you still have a valid tourist visa or visa exemption to re-enter Thailand, you can cross to Laos, pay the fee at the embassy, and return to Thailand on the same day. You can simply wait for your visa email at home in Thailand.
- Overnight Stay (7-8 Nights): If your current permission to stay in Thailand has expired, you cannot return immediately. You must stay in Laos for about 7 to 8 days until your visa is approved and emailed to you.

Please remember: You cannot walk into the Thai Embassy in Laos with paper documents to apply. The entire application must be submitted online.
💡 Helpful Tip: You can fill out your application and save it as a draft while you are still in Thailand. However, do not click submit until you have crossed into Laos and received your Laos entry stamp to upload.

Even though everything is uploaded online, we highly recommend printing copies of all your documents or bringing the originals with you. If the embassy officers ask for extra documents and you are waiting in Laos, you won’t be able to go back to Thailand to get them!

1. Create an Account:Can be done from Thailand.
- Create a user account on the website and select Apply New Visa.

- Current Location (Most Important): You must select Laos (not your home country, and not Thailand).
3. Select Embassy & Visa Type:Choose the right options.

- For Marriage Visa: Select To Stay with Thai Family More Than 60 Days.

4. Enter Address & Upload Laos Stamp:Do this after entering Laos.
- Current Address: Enter the name and address of your hotel in Laos.
- Permanent Address: Check the box and enter your home address in your home country.
- Upload Stamp: Take a photo of your Laos entry stamp (and Laos visa, if any) and upload it under Document Indicating Current Location.
5. Submit the Application:Double-check everything.
- Make sure all information and documents are correct, then click submit.
6. Download the Payment Slip: Pay at the Embassy.
After submitting, the system will ask you to choose a payment method. Online payment is not available for Laos. The system will generate a “Payment Appointment Slip” for you to download.
- This slip has no specific date or time. You can take it to your chosen Thai Embassy in Laos to pay the fee during working hours.

Payment Hours: The embassy only accepts payments from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Noon). Make sure to arrive early!

Once your visa is approved, it will be sent directly to your email as a PDF file.
