หากสามีทำไม่เป็น สามารถให้ภรรยา ลูก หลาน หรือคนรอบข้างที่มีความคุ้นเคยกับเทคโนโลยีมากกว่าช่วยสมัครและกรอกข้อมูลแทนได้ทั้งหมด

• ข้อสำคัญ: บัญชีผู้ใช้งานและผู้ดำเนินการกรอกจะเป็นใครก็ได้ แต่ข้อมูลส่วนตัว เอกสาร รูปถ่าย และการชำระเงิน จะต้องเป็นของตัวผู้ขอวีซ่า (สามีชาวต่างชาติ) เท่านั้น

• เป็นข้อบังคับ: ปัจจุบันต้องทำผ่านออนไลน์จากนอกประเทศไทยเท่านั้น หากระบบตรวจพบว่าทำขณะตัวอยู่ในไทย (Physically in Thailand) จะถูกปฏิเสธทันที

• เพื่อเปิดบัญชีธนาคารในไทย: ผู้ที่ต้องการอยู่ระยะยาวจำเป็นต้องเปิดบัญชีธนาคารไทยเพื่อขออยู่ต่อ ซึ่งธนาคารในไทยต้องการวีซ่า Non-O เท่านั้น (ฟรีวีซ่าหรือวีซ่าท่องเที่ยวไม่สามารถใช้เปิดบัญชีได้)

เอกสารขอวีซ่า Non-O (เช่น วีซ่าติดตามคู่สมรส หรือวีซ่าเกษียณอายุ) ไม่ยุ่งยากอย่างที่คิด โดยสิ่งที่ต้องเตรียมหลักๆ มีดังนี้:

• ข้อมูลส่วนตัว: พาสปอร์ต, ที่อยู่และเบอร์โทรศัพท์ในต่างประเทศ, ที่อยู่และเบอร์โทรศัพท์ในไทย (เช่น ของภรรยา)
• เอกสารแนบ: รูปถ่ายติดวีซ่า (ถ่ายเองได้ตามตัวอย่างในระบบ), ทะเบียนสมรส (กรณีคู่สมรส), สูติบัตรลูก (กรณีติดตามลูก) หรือหลักฐานการเงินต่างประเทศ (กรณีเกษียณ)

• วันเดินทาง: ใส่ระบุวันคร่าวๆ ไปก่อนได้ เมื่อวีซ่าได้รับการอนุมัติ วีซ่าจะมีอายุให้เดินทางเข้าไทยได้ภายใน 3 เดือน เมื่อเดินทางมาถึง ตม. ไทยจะปั๊มอนุญาตให้อยู่ได้ 90 วัน

• ระยะเวลาพิจารณา: ปกติใช้เวลาประมาณ 3 สัปดาห์ (แนะนำให้ขอล่วงหน้าประมาณ 1 เดือนก่อนเดินทาง)

• ห้ามกรอกข้อมูลตามพาสปอร์ตผิดเด็ดขาด: โดยเฉพาะ ชื่อ-นามสกุล, เลขพาสปอร์ต และวันหมดอายุ หากผิดพลาดวีซ่าจะถูกปฏิเสธทันที

• คอยเช็คอีเมล: หากเอกสารไม่ครบ สถานทูตจะส่งอีเมลมาแจ้งเตือน เพื่อให้เราอัปโหลดเอกสารเพิ่มเติมเข้าในระบบได้ ไม่ต้องกังวลว่าสมัครแล้วจะโดนตัดสิทธิ์ทันที

• ยื่นแสดงวีซ่าต่อ ตม.: เมื่อได้รับใบวีซ่าทางอีเมลแล้ว ให้พิมพ์ออกมาหรือเซฟใส่โทรศัพท์เพื่อแสดงให้ ตม. ดูตอนเข้าประเทศ เพื่อป้องกันเจ้าหน้าที่ปั๊มเป็นวีซ่าท่องเที่ยวแทน

If you struggle with online forms, a wife, child, grandchild, or relative who is more comfortable with technology can fill out the application for him.

• Important: Anyone can create the account and fill out the details, but all personal information, uploaded documents, photos, and payment must belong to the applicant (the foreigner).

• It is Mandatory: You must apply from outside Thailand. If the system detects that the applicant is physically inside Thailand during the application, it will be rejected immediately.

• To Open a Thai Bank Account: Foreigners who plan to stay long-term need a Thai bank account to extend their stay. Thai banks specifically require a Non-O visa to open an account (Visa Exempt/Visa on Arrival or Tourist Visas cannot be used).

The requirements for a Non-O visa (Marriage or Retirement) are straightforward:

• Personal Details: Passport, overseas address and phone number, and address/phone number in Thailand (e.g., the wife’s details).
• Uploads: Visa photo (can be self-taken following the online example), Marriage Certificate (for marriage option), Child’s Thai Birth Certificate (for dependent option), or foreign financial proof (for retirement option).

• Travel Date: You can enter an estimated date of arrival. Once approved, the visa is typically valid for entry within 3 months. Upon arrival, Immigration will stamp a 90-day stay.

• Processing Time: It usually takes around 3 weeks. It is recommended to apply about 1 month before the planned travel date.

• Double-Check Passport Details: Make sure the name, passport number, and expiration date are 100% accurate. Errors in these fields will lead to an automatic rejection.

• Check Your Email: If any document is missing, the embassy will send an email request with a link to upload the missing file. You won’t be rejected right away just for a missing attachment.

• Show Your E-Visa to Immigration: Print out your approved E-Visa or save it on your phone to present to the Immigration officer upon arrival. This prevents them from accidentally stamping you in under a regular tourist exemption.
