- Convenient process: You can simply take photos of your documents or export statements from your mobile banking app to upload.
- Get approved before flying: Once your visa is approved, it will be sent to your email. Then, you can fly into Thailand and easily use that Non-O visa to open a Thai bank account

The answer is: No, absolutely not.
The main reason is that you don’t have a Thai bank account yet. (Even if you managed to open a bank account a long time ago when rules were less strict, Immigration or the Embassy will still likely tell you to apply outside Thailand anyway).
Useful Tip: The Thai E-Visa system always shows a warning stating: “You cannot apply for this visa while you are physically inside Thailand.” Therefore, you must be outside Thailand when submitting the application. You will need to upload the arrival entry stamp of the country you are visiting into the system to prove that you are currently abroad.
2 Options if You Are Already in Thailand and Need a Non-O Visa

- What to do: Stay until your current visa-free period expires (since you have to leave anyway), then travel to a neighboring country such as Laos, Vietnam, or Malaysia.
- Why do most people go to Laos? It is close to other Southeast Asian countries and offers a much more budget-friendly trip.
- What you need to prepare: The documents and bank statements you upload must be in English or Thai only (if they are in another language, you must get them translated).
- Processing time: Once you arrive in that country, submit your online application along with your new entry stamp and wait about 7 to 10 days for approval via email.
- Important note when returning to Thailand: Once your visa arrives in your email, you can return by air or land. Make sure to show your Non-O visa document to the Immigration Officer, otherwise they might stamp you in as a Tourist/Visa Exemption again, making your Non-O visa useless.

- Benefits: This is the safest and best method because you can use all local documents in your native language without needing translations. Once your visa is approved, you can fly back into Thailand.
