การขออยู่ต่อวีซ่าไทยทุกประเภท (เช่น Non-O คู่สมรส, Non-O เกษียณอายุ, วีซ่าทำงาน, วีซ่าเรียน, DTV, วีซ่าท่องเที่ยว หรือฟรีวีซ่า) ใช้แบบฟอร์มหลัก 2 ฉบับนี้เหมือนกันทุก ตม. ทั่วประเทศ (บางแห่งอาจมีแบบฟอร์มย่อยเพิ่มเติม แต่เอกสารหลักคือ 2 ฉบับนี้)
ที่สำคัญคือ ผู้ขอต้องเดินทางไปยื่นคำขอด้วยตนเองที่ ตม. (ยกเว้นผู้ป่วยหรือผู้พิการที่ไม่สามารถมาได้) ดังนั้นการจ้างเอเจนซี่จึงไม่มีความจำเป็น เพราะเจ้าของวีซ่าต้องไปปรากฏตัวและเตรียมเอกสารส่วนตัวอยู่ดี

ค่าธรรมเนียมการยื่นคำขอคือ 1,900 บาท (ไม่คืนเงินทุกกรณี) แบบฟอร์มมีทั้งภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ สามารถกรอกตามข้อมูลในหนังสือเดินทาง (Passport) ได้เลย หากข้อไหนไม่แน่ใจให้เว้นไว้ถามเจ้าหน้าที่
➤ สถานที่ยื่นคำขอ:
ต้องยื่น ณ สำนักงาน ตม. ในพื้นที่ที่ได้แจ้ง ตม.30 (แจ้งที่พักอาศัย) ไว้เท่านั้น (เช่น พักอาศัยในจังหวัดขอนแก่น ให้ระบุ ตม.ขอนแก่น)

➤ ข้อมูลการเดินทางเข้าประเทศ:
ระบุพาหนะที่เดินทางมา (เช่น เครื่องบิน), เมืองที่ขึ้นเครื่องบิน, ด่าน ตม. ที่เดินทางเข้ามา (เช่น สุวรรณภูมิ, ภูเก็ต, เชียงใหม่), วันที่เดินทางเข้า และหมายเลขใบทรานซิต/บัตรขาเข้า (TDAC หรือ ตม.6)
➤ ระยะเวลาที่ขออยู่ต่อ:
- วีซ่าท่องเที่ยว / ฟรีวีซ่า: ขออยู่ต่อได้อีก 30 วัน
- DTV: ขออยู่ต่อได้อีก 180 วัน
- Non-O: ขออยู่ต่อได้อีก 365 วัน (1 ปี)

กรอกคำสั้นๆ ตามความเป็นจริง ไม่จำเป็นต้องเขียนบรรยายยาว 3 บรรทัด (ช่องว่าง 3 บรรทัดมีไว้สำหรับกรณีจำเป็นพิเศษ)
- ท่องเที่ยว / ฟรีวีซ่า: เพื่อการท่องเที่ยว หรือ เยี่ยมครอบครัว
- Non-O คู่สมรส: อยู่กับคู่สมรส (Stay with spouse)
- Non-O เกษียณ: เกษียณอายุ (Retirement)

ระบุชื่อเจ้าบ้านตามทะเบียนบ้าน และกรอกที่อยู่ปัจจุบันให้ครบถ้วน (บ้านเลขที่, ถนน, ตำบล/แขวง, อำเภอ/เขต, จังหวัด) และระบุชื่อผู้เขียนแบบฟอร์ม

แบบฟอร์มนี้เป็นหนังสือรับทราบเงื่อนไขว่า การสิทธิ์อยู่ต่ออาจถูกยกเลิกได้หากผิดเงื่อนไข กรอกข้อมูลเพียงเล็กน้อย ดังนี้:
- การกรอกข้อมูล: ระบุวันที่, ชื่อ-นามสกุล, อายุ, สัญชาติ และเหตุผลที่ขอยื่นอยู่ต่อ (ตรงกับที่ระบุใน ตม.7) จากนั้นลงชื่อรับทราบด้านล่าง
- เงื่อนไขสำคัญที่ต้องรับทราบ (วีซ่าจะสิ้นสุดลงทันทีเมื่อเกิดกรณีเหล่านี้):

Can You Fill Out the Thai Visa Extension Application Form Myself for Any Visa Type?
Extending your stay in Thailand does not require paying expensive agencies. The TM.7 and STM.2 forms are the standard requirement across all immigration offices in Thailand, regardless of your visa type (Non-O Marriage, Non-O Retirement, Non-B Work, ED Visa, DTV, Tourist Visa, or Visa Exemption). While some local offices may ask for extra minor sheets, these two remain the primary forms.
Immigration law strictly requires applicants to submit the request in person (except for those who are sick or disabled). Since you must appear at the immigration office yourself and supply your own personal documents, there is no need to hire an agent.

The application fee is 1,900 THB (non-refundable). The form includes both Thai and English text. Fill in the details matching your passport in English. If you are unsure about any field, leave it blank and ask an officer on-site.

You must submit this form at the immigration office responsible for the area where your TM.30 (notification of residence) is registered (e.g., Khon Kaen Immigration if your registered address is in Khon Kaen).
➤ Personal Details (Page 1):
Enter your full name, age, date of birth, place of birth, nationality, passport number, issue date, and expiry date exactly as shown in your passport.

State your current entry status, such as Exemption, Tourist, Non-O, DTV, etc.
➤ Travel Details:
Specify your mode of transport (e.g., aeroplane), departure city, entry checkpoint (e.g., Suvarnabhumi, Phuket, Chiang Mai), arrival date, and your arrival card number (TDAC / TM.6).

- Tourist Visa / Visa Exemption: 30 days
- DTV: 180 days
- Non-O Visa: 365 days (1 year)

Keep it short and direct. The 3-line space is meant for special emergency cases, so regular applicants do not need to write an essay.

➤ Signature:
Sign your name at the bottom of Page 1.

Provide the full address where you are staying, along with the house master’s name (as listed in the house registration book), and state who filled out the form.

Attach one standard 4×6 cm photo. It is best to attach it at the immigration office in case adjustments are needed.

This form is a short legal agreement acknowledging that your extension can be revoked if you breach official conditions.
- Information Required: Write the date, your name, age, nationality, and reason for extension (matching your TM.7 form), then sign at the bottom.
- Key Conditions to Remember (Your visa ends immediately if):
- You change the original reason or purpose of your stay.
- The underlying conditions for your stay end (with an exception for foreign family members of Thai citizens if the Thai national passes away).
- You change employers or terminate employment while holding a work visa (Non-B).
