สำหรับการขอวีซ่าระยะสั้น (ไม่ว่าจะไปต่างประเทศหรือวีซ่าเข้าไทย) สิ่งที่สถานทูตต้องการจริงๆ มีเพียง “ใบแสดงเที่ยวบิน” (Flight Itinerary / Flight Reservation) เพื่อใช้ยืนยันแผนการเดินทางของผู้ขอวีซ่าเท่านั้น โดยไม่จำเป็นต้องซื้อตั๋วจริงล่วงหน้า เอกสารนี้มีไว้เพื่อประกอบการพิจารณาวีซ่า ช่วยให้สถานทูตเห็นว่าผู้ยื่นมีแผนเดินทางที่ชัดเจน มีวันเข้า–ออกประเทศตามที่ระบุในใบสมัคร

ข้อมูลที่จำเป็นต้องมีในใบแสดงเที่ยวบิน

• ชื่อ–นามสกุล: ต้องสะกดตรงกับพาสปอร์ตทุกตัวอักษร (จำเป็นมาก ต้องตรง 100%)

• รหัสเที่ยวบิน (Flight Number) เช่น Thai Airways TG921
• วันเข้าประเทศปลายทาง และ วันออกจากประเทศปลายทาง (วันที่ในเอกสารต้องตรงกับที่กรอกในใบสมัครวีซ่า)
• รายละเอียดการต่อเครื่อง (Transit) ถ้ามี

ข้อควรรู้:

• วันที่เดินทางไม่จำเป็นต้องตรงกับวันออกจากไทย โดยเฉพาะการเดินทางไกล เช่น อเมริกา แคนาดา เพราะวันถึงปลายทางอาจเป็นคนละวันกับวันที่ออกเดินทาง
• สามารถระบุเฉพาะ สนามบินหลักของประเทศปลายทาง ได้ แม้ว่าจุดหมายสุดท้ายจริงๆ จะเป็นเมืองเล็กๆ ในประเทศนั้นก็ตาม เช่น ปลายทาง Nice แต่ลง Paris ก็ได้

(มีหรือไม่มีก็ได้ ไม่กระทบการขอวีซ่า)

• ตั๋วที่ชำระเงินจริง: ไม่จำเป็นต้องซื้อตั๋วจริงล่วงหน้า เพราะหากวีซ่าถูกปฏิเสธ จะทำให้เสียค่าใช้จ่ายโดยไม่จำเป็น ใบแสดงเที่ยวบินแบบยังไม่ชำระเงินถือว่าเพียงพอแล้ว

วันเดินทางเข้า: ในใบสมัคร ให้กรอก “วันที่เดินทางถึงประเทศปลายทาง” ไม่ใช่วันที่ออกจากประเทศไทย

• ตัวอย่าง: ออกจากไทยวันที่ 1 ไปถึงฝรั่งเศสวันที่ 2 ต้องกรอกในใบสมัครเป็น วันที่ 2

วันเดินทางออก: ต้องระบุวันที่ออกจากเขตประเทศนั้นๆ โดยคำนวณรวมเวลาต่อเครื่อง (Transit) ให้ดี เพื่อไม่ให้เกินกำหนดวันกลับ

• ตัวอย่าง: หากกำหนดวันกลับคือวันที่ 10 ออกจากฝรั่งเศส 22:00 น. วันที่ 10 แล้วไปต่อเครื่องที่ฟินแลนด์เวลา 01:00 น. ของวันที่ 11 แบบนี้ถือว่าเลยกำหนดวันกลับแล้ว

ประกันเดินทาง (สำหรับวีซ่าเชงเกน): ต้องซื้อให้ครอบคลุมวันเดินทางจริงตามใบแสดงเที่ยวบิน (ซื้อเกินวันได้ แต่ห้ามซื้อขาด)

• ขั้นตอนที่ 3 เลือกเที่ยวบิน: เลือกไฟลท์ที่ต้องการ และตรวจเช็กให้ดีว่าวันเวลาเดินทางไปถึงปลายทาง ตรงกับแผนในใบสมัครวีซ่าหรือไม่
• ขั้นตอนที่ 4 กรอกชื่อผู้เดินทาง: กรอกข้อมูลผู้เดินทาง ใส่ชื่อ-นามสกุลให้ตรงกับพาสปอร์ต (ส่วนข้อมูลอื่นๆ เช่น เบอร์โทร อีเมล หรือที่อยู่ ไม่ใช่ประเด็นสำคัญเท่าชื่อผู้เดินทาง)
• ขั้นตอนที่ 5 พิมพ์หน้าสรุป: ดำเนินการไปเรื่อยๆ จนถึง “หน้าสรุปการจอง” (หน้ารายละเอียดเที่ยวบินและราคา ก่อนถึงขั้นตอนกดชำระเงิน) ห้ามกดชำระเงิน ให้กดขยายรายละเอียดเที่ยวบิน (ขาไป-ขากลับ-จุดต่อเครื่อง) ให้เห็นข้อมูลครบถ้วน แล้วทำการกดสั่งพิมพ์เป็น ไฟล์ PDF หรือ แคปหน้าจอ (Screenshot) นำไปปริ้นท์ เพื่อใช้แนบเป็นหลักฐานยื่นขอวีซ่าได้ทันที!

• Compounded losses on re-application: In many cases, a sponsor buys the ticket. When the visa is rejected, applicants rush to re-apply multiple times just to save the ticket without fixing the real issue—leading to even more wasted visa fees.

For short-term visas, embassies only require a Flight Itinerary (or Flight Reservation). This document proves your travel schedule—showing your planned arrival and departure dates—without requiring you to pay for a real ticket in advance.

Essential Information Required

• First & Last Name: Must match your passport 100%.
• Flight Number (e.g., Thai Airways TG921).
• Arrival and departure dates at the destination country (must match your visa application).

Good to know:

• Your departure date from your home country does not have to match your arrival date at the destination (especially for long trips like to the US or Canada, where you might arrive the next day).
• You can list the main international airport of your destination country, even if your final destination is a smaller city (e.g., flying into Paris even if your end destination is Nice).

• Fully Paid Ticket: Not required. An unpaid flight itinerary is completely sufficient.

• Booking Number / PNR: A 6-character booking code is not mandatory. Embassies only care about seeing a travel schedule that matches your application form.

Entry Date: On your application, enter the “Date of Arrival at Destination,” NOT the date you leave your home country.

• Example: If you leave Thailand on the 1st and land in France on the 2nd, write the 2nd on your application.

Exit Date: Make sure to calculate your transit times when leaving.

• Example: If your planned exit date is the 10th, and your flight leaves France at 10:00 PM on the 10th but transits in Finland at 1:00 AM on the 11th, you have officially exceeded your stay limit.

Travel Insurance (Schengen Visa): Must cover your entire stay based on your flight itinerary dates (buying extra days is fine, but buying fewer days is not allowed).
