ระบบเริ่มเปิดใช้งานตั้งแต่วันที่ 21 กันยายน 2569 โดยมีเงื่อนไขการใช้งาน 4 ข้อหลัก ดังนี้:

✅ 1. ถือพาสปอร์ต 1 ใน 33 ประเทศที่กำหนดส่วนใหญ่เป็นประเทศหลักๆ (เช่น อังกฤษ, แคนาดา, ออสเตรเลีย, นิวซีแลนด์, เยอรมนี, ฝรั่งเศส, อิตาลี, สเปน, สวิตเซอร์แลนด์, เนเธอร์แลนด์, เบลเยียม, เดนมาร์ก, ฟินแลนด์, นอร์เวย์, โปรตุเกส, โปแลนด์, ไอร์แลนด์ รวมถึงญี่ปุ่น, เกาหลีใต้, ฮ่องกง, สิงคโปร์, มาเลเซีย และ UAE) โดยไม่มีสหรัฐอเมริกา

✅ 2. ต้องลงทะเบียน TDAC ก่อนเดินทางเข้าไทย

✅ 3. ต้องเคยเดินทางเข้ามาประเทศไทยและเคยผ่าน ตม. มาแล้ว ระบบจำเป็นต้องมีข้อมูลประวัติและลายนิ้วมือเดิมอยู่ในฐานข้อมูล ตม.

• ❌ ผู้ที่มาไทยครั้งแรก: ยังใช้ไม่ได้ ต้องเข้าช่อง ตม. ปกติ

• ❌ ผู้ที่เปลี่ยนพาสปอร์ตเล่มใหม่: เล่มใหม่ยังไม่มีประวัติการเดินทางเดิมในระบบ เอกสารจะไม่เชื่อมโยงกัน อาจถูกส่งไปช่อง ตม. ปกติเช่นกัน

✅ 4. ต้องเป็นการเดินทางเข้าไทยแบบ “ฟรีวีซ่า” (30 วัน) เท่านั้น ผู้ที่ถือวีซ่าประเภทอื่น (เช่น วีซ่าท่องเที่ยว, Non-O, DTV ฯลฯ) ยังไม่สามารถใช้งานช่อง E-Gate ได้

• เสี่ยงเสียสิทธิวีซ่า: ถ้าถือวีซ่า TR/DTV/Non-O ตอนสแกนพาสปอร์ตที่ช่อง E-Gate ระบบจะขึ้นข้อความถามยืนยันว่า “ต้องการเข้าไทยด้วยสิทธิฟรีวีซ่า 30 วันหรือไม่” หากเผลอกดตกลง ประวัติการเข้าเมืองจะกลายเป็นสิทธิฟรีวีซ่าทันที ไม่ใช่สิทธิจากวีซ่าที่ขอมา

• ไม่มีตราประทับ: การผ่านช่องอัตโนมัติจะไม่มีการประทับตราลงในเล่มพาสปอร์ต ซึ่งผู้ที่ถือวีซ่าประเภทที่ต้องนำตราประทับไปใช้ต่ออายุหรือติดต่อราชการ จำเป็นต้องเข้าช่องเจ้าหน้าที่ ตม. ตามปกติ เพื่อให้เจ้าหน้าที่เขียนประเภทวีซ่าและลงตราประทับลงในเล่ม

ปกติการแจ้ง ตม.30 ทางออนไลน์ มักจะมีการอัปโหลดรูปหน้าตราประทับวันเข้าเมือง เมื่อผ่านช่อง E-Gate แล้วไม่มีตราประทับ จะทำอย่างไร?

• ช่องอัปโหลดรูปตราประทับในการระบบออนไลน์ไม่ได้เป็นช่องบังคับ (ไม่มีเครื่องหมายดอกจัน)
• สามารถอัปโหลดเพียงหน้าพาสปอร์ตและกรอกข้อมูลตามปกติได้ เนื่องจาก ตม. เป็นผู้เปิดใช้ระบบ E-Gate เอง จึงมีข้อมูลเวลาเดินทางเข้าประเทศบันทึกอยู่ในระบบเรียบร้อยแล้ว

The system began operating on September 21 with 4 main conditions:

✅ 1. Hold a passport from 1 of the 33 designated countries Most are major countries (such as the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Portugal, Poland, Ireland, as well as Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and the UAE) excluding the United States.

✅ 2. Must register for TDAC prior to traveling to Thailand.

✅ 3. Must have previously traveled to Thailand and passed through Immigration The system needs to have existing travel history and fingerprint data in the Immigration database.

• ❌ First-time visitors to Thailand: Cannot use E-Gates yet and must go through regular Immigration counters.

• ❌ Travelers with a new passport: The new passport does not have previous travel history linked in the system yet and documents may not match, so travelers may also be directed to regular Immigration counters.

✅ 4. Must be entering Thailand under “Visa Exemption” (30 days) only Travelers holding other types of visas (such as Tourist Visa, Non-O, DTV, etc.) cannot use the E-Gate channels yet.

• Risk of losing visa status: For TR/DTV/Non-O visa holder who tried scanning their passport at an E-Gate, and the system displayed a confirmation message asking: “Do you want to enter Thailand using a 30-day Visa Exemption?” If you accidentally tap agree, your entry record will immediately become a Visa Exemption instead of the visa status you applied for.
• No entry stamps: Passing through automated gates will not leave an entry stamp in your passport. Travelers holding visas that require physical entry stamps for extension applications or official procedures must use regular Immigration counters so officers can handwrite the visa type and stamp the passport.

Normally, reporting TM.30 online requires uploading a photo of the entry stamp page. What should you do when passing through an E-Gate without receiving an entry stamp?

• The entry stamp upload field in the online system is not a mandatory field (it has no asterisk).
• You can upload just the passport page and complete the form as usual. Since Immigration itself operates the E-Gate system, your entry time data is already recorded in their database.
