แต่หากไม่ได้ทำในวันนั้น ก็ยังสามารถไปทำภายหลังได้ เช่น

• ก่อนเดินทางออกนอกประเทศ
• ทำที่สำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมือง
• หรือทำที่สนามบินก่อนออกเดินทาง

การทำ Re-entry Permit
ไม่ได้เป็นการยืดระยะเวลาวีซ่า

วันหมดอายุของการพำนักในประเทศไทยจะยังคง หมดอายุตามวันที่ได้รับอนุญาตให้อยู่ต่อเดิม

Re-entry Permit มีหน้าที่เพียง
รักษาสถานะการพำนักเดิมไว้ เมื่อเดินทางออกนอกประเทศ

วีซ่า NON-O ส่วนใหญ่เป็นแบบ Single Entry

หมายความว่า
อนุญาตให้ เข้าประเทศได้เพียงครั้งเดียว

ดังนั้น หากคุณออกจากประเทศไทยเมื่อใด
วีซ่าจะ สิ้นสุดทันทีในวันนั้น แม้ว่าจะยังเหลือวันพำนักอีกหลายเดือนก็ตาม

ยกเว้นกรณีที่คุณได้ทำ Re-entry Permit ไว้ก่อนออกจากประเทศค่าธรรมเนียมโดยประมาณ: ประมาณ 50 USD

ผู้ถือวีซ่า NON-O เช่น

• วีซ่าคู่สมรส
• วีซ่าเกษียณ

สามารถอยู่ประเทศไทยระยะยาวได้อยู่แล้ว โดยการ ขออยู่ต่อทุกปี

หากทำ Re-entry Permit ไว้
ก็สามารถ เข้าออกประเทศไทยได้ตามจำนวนครั้งที่ขออนุญาตไว้ โดยสถานะวีซ่ายังคงอยู่

สามารถดำเนินการได้ก่อนเดินทางออกจากประเทศไทย โดย

• ติดต่อที่ สำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมือง (ตม.) ใกล้บ้าน
• หรือทำที่ สนามบินก่อนออกนอกประเทศ

ผู้ยื่นคำขอต้อง มายื่นด้วยตนเอง

หมายเหตุ:
ค่าธรรมเนียม ไม่สามารถขอคืนได้ ไม่ว่าจะได้รับอนุญาตหรือไม่

เอกสารที่ต้องใช้

เอกสารทุกฉบับต้อง รับรองสำเนาถูกต้อง

• หนังสือเดินทาง
  (ตัวจริง พร้อมสำเนาหน้าข้อมูล, หน้าวันหมดอายุ, หน้าที่มีการแก้ไข, และหน้าตราประทับล่าสุด)
• แบบฟอร์ม ตม.8 (Re-entry Permit Form)
  ฉบับจริง พร้อมติดรูปถ่ายขนาด 4 × 6 ซม.
• ใบลงทะเบียนเข้าเมือง ตม.6 / TDAC
• เอกสารแจ้งที่พัก ตม.30จะมีค่าธรรมเนียมตามที่ทางการกำหนด

แม้ไม่ได้ถือสถานะ Permanent Resident ก็สามารถอยู่ไทยระยะยาวได้ด้วยวิธีนี้

1. ขอวีซ่า NON-O จากต่างประเทศ
เช่น วีซ่าคู่สมรส หรือวีซ่าเกษียณ ผ่านระบบ Thai eVisa
จะได้รับสิทธิ์พำนักในไทย 90 วัน

2. ก่อนครบ 90 วัน
ยื่นขอ อยู่ต่อ 1 ปี (Extension of Stay)
และสามารถทำ Re-entry Permit แบบ Multiple Entry ไปพร้อมกันได้

3. ทำขั้นตอนเดิมทุกปี
ในปีต่อ ๆ ไป สามารถยื่นขออยู่ต่อได้ ล่วงหน้า 45 วันก่อนวันหมดอายุ

4. หากไม่ต้องการขออยู่ต่อในไทย
สามารถออกไปขอวีซ่า NON-O ใหม่จากต่างประเทศ ได้
แต่จะต้องเริ่มขั้นตอนใหม่ตั้งแต่ข้อที่ 1

If you know that you will need to travel in and out of Thailand frequently, it is a good idea to apply for a Multiple Re-entry Permit at the same time when you apply for your 1-year Extension of Stay.

Doing both on the same day is usually more convenient.

However, if you did not apply for it at that time, you can still apply later, for example:

• Before leaving Thailand
• At a local Immigration Office
• Or at the airport before departure

A Re-entry Permit does NOT extend your visa validity.

Your permitted stay in Thailand will still expire on the same date as your Extension of Stay.

The purpose of a Re-entry Permit is simply to protect your current stay status when you leave Thailand and return later.

Types of Re-entry Permits

There are two types of Re-entry Permits:

Single Re-entry Permit
Allows you to leave and re-enter Thailand once
Fee: 1,000 THB

Multiple Re-entry Permit
Allows you to leave and re-enter Thailand unlimited times during your permitted stay
Fee: 3,800 THB

Most NON-O visas are issued as Single Entry visas.

This means the visa allows you to enter Thailand only once.

If you leave Thailand without a Re-entry Permit, the visa permission automatically ends the moment you depart, even if you still had several months remaining on your permitted stay.

A Re-entry Permit prevents this problem.imated visa fee: around 50 USD

People holding NON-O visas, such as:

• Thai spouse visa
• Retirement visa

can stay in Thailand long-term by applying for a yearly Extension of Stay.

If you also obtain a Re-entry Permit, you will be able to leave and re-enter Thailand according to the type of permit you applied for, while keeping your stay status valid.

You must apply before leaving Thailand.

You can apply at:

• A local Immigration Office
• Or at the airport before departure

The applicant must submit the application in person.

Please note:
The application fee is non-refundable, regardless of the result.

Required Documents

All copies must be signed to certify the documents.

• Passport
  (Original passport and copies of the information page, expiration page, amendment page if any, and the latest entry stamp)

• Form TM.8 (Re-entry Permit application form)
  With a 4 × 6 cm photo attached
• Arrival/Departure record (TM.6) or TDAC
• Residence notification (TM.30)ension fees apply according to immigration regulations.

Even without becoming a permanent resident, it is possible to stay in Thailand long-term by following this process.

1. Apply for a NON-O visa from outside Thailand
For example, a spouse visa or retirement visa through the Thai eVisa system.
This usually grants 90 days of stay in Thailand.

2. Before the 90 days expire
Apply for a 1-year Extension of Stay at the Immigration Office.
You can also apply for a Multiple Re-entry Permit at the same time.

3. Repeat the process every year
You can apply for the next extension up to 45 days before the current permission expires.

4. If you prefer not to extend inside Thailand
You can leave Thailand and apply for a new NON-O visa from abroad, but you will need to start the process again from step 1.
