วีซ่าท่องเที่ยวไทยมีอะไรบ้าง ขอที่ไหน?

วีซ่าท่องเที่ยวทุกประเภท ต้องขอออนไลน์ตอนอยู่นอกประเทศไทยเท่านั้น ตามกฎแล้วควรขอในขณะอยู่ในประเทศที่ผู้ยื่นอาศัยอยู่ระยะยาวอย่างถูกกฎหมาย หมายถึง ถือพาสปอร์ตประเทศอะไรหรือทำงานประเทศอะไรก็ควรขอในขณะอยู่ประเทศนั้น ไม่สามารถทำในขณะอยู่ในไทยได้

1. ฟรีวีซ่า (Visa Exemption / Free Visa)

2. Tourist Visa (Single Entry – TR Single)

3) Tourist Visa (Multiple Entry – METV) อนุญาตเฉพาะบางประเทศเท่านั้น

  • ขอออนไลน์เท่านั้น
  • วีซ่าท่องเที่ยวแบบ “เข้าออกกี่ครั้งก็ได้” ภายใน 6 เดือน
  • อยู่ได้ : 60 วัน ต่ออายุที่ตม.ได้อีก 30 วัน (เท่ากับ single)
  • หมายถึง ภายใน 6 เดือนนับจากวันเข้าไทย จะเข้าออกกี่ครั้งก็ได้ แต่ต้องอยู่ไทยไม่เกิน 60 วัน ถ้าคิดว่าจะเกินสามารถขออยู่ต่อได้อีก 30 วัน โดยใน 30 วันนี้จะเข้าออกกี่ครั้งก็ได้ แต่ทั้งหมดนี้ต้องอยู่ภายใน 6 เดือน
  • วีซ่านี้แทบจะไม่มีประโยชน์แล้วในปัจจุบัน แค่นำมาอธิบายให้เข้าใจเฉยๆ เพราะมีบางคนถามมา
  • ข้อเสีย
    • ค่าธรรมเนียมแพงกว่า single หลายเท่า
    • ต้องมีเอกสารเยอะกว่า รายได้มากกว่า single

4) DTV – Destination Thailand Visa

  • ขอออนไลน์เท่านั้น
  • วีซ่าแบบท่องเที่ยว + ใช้ชีวิตในไทย สำหรับคนที่ต้องการอยู่ไทยแบบยาว โดยไม่จำเป็นต้องจดทะเบียนสมรสกับคนไทย และยังไม่ถึงวัยเกษียณ

ระยะเวลาพำนัก

  • อยู่ได้: สูงสุด 180 วัน (6 เดือนต่อครั้ง)
  • multiple 5ปี เข้าออกไทยได้ไม่จำกัด
  • ขออยู่ต่อได้ปีละครั้ง ครั้งละ 180 วัน

ตัวอย่าง

  • เช่น อยู่ไทย 180 วัน หรืออยู่ไทยไม่ถึง 180 วันก็ได้ เมื่อออกนอกไทย แล้วกลับเข้าไทยใหม่ ก็จะนับใหม่อีก 180 วัน ทำแบบนี้ไปเรื่อยๆได้ถึง 5 ปี
  • หรือคนที่ไม่อยากออกนอกไทยบ่อย ก็สามารถอยู่ไทย 180 วัน แล้วขออยู่ต่อได้อีก 180 วัน โดยที่ไม่ต้องออกนอกไทยเลย เมื่อครบ 180+180 วัน ก็ต้องออกนอกไทย แล้วกลับเข้ามาใหม่ก็จะได้วัน 180 วันอีก ทำแบบนี้เรื่อยๆได้ถึง 5 ปี

หลักฐาน

  • มีหลักฐานการเงิน บัญชีธนาคาร 5แสนบาท (ธนาคารไทยหรือต่างประเทศก็ได้)
  • ใบรับรองงาน/ธุรกิจ มีรายได้จากต่างประเทศเท่านั้น หลักฐานทำงานในไทยใช้ไม่ได้ หลักฐานเกษียณไม่ได้ ห้ามทำงานในไทย และต้องไม่มีรายได้จากประเทศไทย

Summary of Thai Tourist Visa Options, where to apply ?

All types of tourist visas must be applied for online while you are outside Thailand. According to the regulations, you should apply from the country where you are legally residing long-term. This means that if you hold a passport from a certain country or are working legally in a particular country, you should apply while you are in that country. Tourist visas cannot be applied for while you are in Thailand.

  • Online application only
  • Allows multiple entries for 6 months.
  • Each entry: 60 days + 30-day extension.
  • This means that within 6 months from the date of entry to Thailand, you can enter and exit as many times as you want, but each stay cannot exceed 60 days. If you think you will exceed that, you can apply for a 30-day extension. During this 30-day period, you may also enter and exit multiple times. However, everything must still fall within the 6-month validity period.
  • In reality, this visa is almost no longer useful nowadays. I’m just explaining it because some people have asked about it.
  • Downsides:
    • Much higher fee than the single-entry visa.
    • Requires more documents and usually higher proof of income.

4) Destination Thailand Visa (DTV)

  • Online application only.
  • This is a long-stay visa for tourists and lifestyle travelers who want to stay in Thailand for an extended period without needing to marry a Thai citizen and without being of retirement age.

Length of stay:

  • Up to 180 days per entry
  • Multiple entries for 5 years
  • Unlimited entries to Thailand
  • You may apply for a 180-day extension once per year

Examples:

  • You can stay in Thailand for 180 days, or less if you prefer. When you leave Thailand and re-enter, you will receive a new 180-day stay. You can repeat this process throughout the 5-year validity.
  • If you don’t want to leave and enter frequently, you may stay 180 days and then apply for a 180-day extension without leaving Thailand. After completing the 180 + 180 days, you must leave the country and return to receive a new 180-day stay. This cycle can continue for up to 5 years.

Requirement:

  • Bank balance of 500,000 THB (Either a Thai or foreign bank account)
  • Employment requirement:
  • Working in Thailand is prohibited, and you must not have any income from within Thailand.
  • Proof of employment or business with income from abroad only
  • Thai employment documents are not accepted
  • Retirement documents are not accepted
