DTV (Destination Thailand Visa) เป็นวีซ่าท่องเที่ยวรูปแบบใหม่ที่ออกแบบมาสำหรับชาวต่างชาติที่ต้องการ อยู่ไทยแบบยาวนาน, ใช้ชีวิต, ทำงานออนไลน์จากต่างประเทศ หรือพำนักเพื่อทำกิจกรรมตามไลฟ์สไตล์ โดย ไม่ต้องแต่งงานกับคนไทย และไม่จำเป็นต้องถึงวัยเกษียณ บทความนี้เป็นการอธิบายรายการเอกสารอย่างละเอียด

- ต้องแสดงยอดเงินคงเหลือต่อเนื่อง อย่างน้อย 3 เดือน
- หมายเหตุ: บางสถานทูตอาจใช้เพียง 1 เดือน (ควรตรวจสอบล่วงหน้า)
- ใช้บัญชีในประเทศไทยหรือบัญชีต่างประเทศก็ได้
- ใช้เฉพาะยอดเงินในบัญชี ไม่ใช้หลักฐานรายได้

สำหรับ Workcation
- งาน/ธุรกิจที่ทำต้องสามารถ remote work ได้จริง
- สัญญาจ้างงาน/ใบรับรองการจ้างงานจากบริษัท ที่ระบุว่าคุณยังคงทำงานอยู่ ตำแหน่ง งานของคุณอนุญาตให้คุณทำงานจากระยะไกลได้ และบริษัทจะจ่ายเงินให้คุณในระหว่างที่คุณอยู่ในประเทศไทย
- เอกสารนี้ควรแนบมาพร้อมกับใบจดทะเบียนธุรกิจของบริษัทและสลิปเงินเดือนล่าสุดของคุณ

- หลักฐานการชำระเงินเข้าบัญชีของคุณ 3 เดือน
- เอกสารนี้ควรแนบมาพร้อมกับใบรับรองการลงทะเบียน
⬩➤ 3. หลักฐานการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม Soft Power หรือ Medical Treatment ▼
ข้อควรระวัง:
- ต้องตรวจสอบกับสถานทูตไทยในประเทศที่ยื่นคำร้องก่อน
- ค่าใช้จ่ายค่อนข้างสูง และไม่มีการรับประกันผลการอนุมัติ 100%
- หลักฐานรายได้จากเกษียณใช้ไม่ได้ ต้องยื่นวีซ่าเกษียณแทน

ขอบเขตการรักษา
- การรักษาระยะยาว เช่น การผ่าตัด โรคเรื้อรัง กายภาพบำบัด ทันตกรรมที่มีนัดต่อเนื่อง หรือ Wellness ที่มีแพทย์ดูแล
เงื่อนไขสำคัญ
- ต้องเป็นสถานพยาบาลที่ถูกกฎหมาย
- ต้องมีแผนการรักษาต่อเนื่องหลายเดือน
- ต้องมีแพทย์กำกับ

Thailand DTV Visa Required Documents
The DTV (Destination Thailand Visa) is a new type of tourist visa designed for foreigners who want to live in Thailand long-term, enjoy life in the country, work online from abroad, or stay for lifestyle-related activities.

Visa Fees
- DTV visa fee: 10,000 THB
- Extension of stay fee: 1,900 THB
- Extension is permitted once a year
Supporting Documents for DTV Visa Application
Documents are categorized based on the purpose of entering Thailand, as follows:
- Remote work for overseas companies
- Soft Power activities / Medical Treatment
⬩➤ 1. Financial Evidence (Required for All Applicants) ▼
- Minimum bank balance: 500,000 THB
- The balance must be maintained for at least 3 consecutive months
- Note: Some Thai embassies may require only 1 month. Applicants should check in advance.
- Thai or foreign bank accounts are acceptable
- Only the bank balance is considered
- Proof of income is not required
⬩➤ 2. Proof of Overseas Employment (For Remote Work Applicants) ▼
All documents must clearly demonstrate that:
- Income is derived from overseas sources
- The employer or clients are located outside Thailand
- No work is performed in Thailand and no income is received from Thailand

Required documents:
- Employment certificate or employment contract stating that:
- The applicant is currently employed
- Remote work is permitted
- Salary continues while residing in Thailand
- Latest payslip
- Company registration documents of the employer

A personal statement or cover letter explaining:
- Nature of work

For business owners:
- Business registration certificate

For freelancers / self-employed applicants:
- Photos showing work activities
- Website or online platforms (e.g. YouTube, TikTok)
- The applicant’s name must clearly appear to prove ownership
- Proof of payments received from work performed
➤ Key points regarding work documentation for a DTV visa application: ▼
Workcation:
- The job/business must genuinely allow for remote work.
- A contract/employment certificate from the company
- stating that you are still employed, your job position allows you to work remotely,
- and that the company will pay you while you are in Thailand.
- This document should be attached with the company’s business registration certificate and your most recent payslips.
- Alternatively, a professional portfolio showcasing your status as a digital traveler, remote worker, highly skilled employee, or freelancer.
For self-employed individuals:
- A letter of employment containing the following information: the nature of your remote work, source of income (bank transfers, PayPal, etc.), your website address (URL)
- or freelance platform (Malt, Fiverr, YouTube, etc.) where your profile with your full name and photo must appear.
- This document should be attached with your registration certificate.
- Invoices (dated within the last 3 months) and proof of payment to your account.
⬩➤ 3. Proof of Participation in Soft Power Activities or Medical Treatment ▼
This option is suitable for applicants who cannot provide work-related documents.
Important Notes:
- Applicants must confirm eligibility with the Thai embassy in their country before applying
- Costs are relatively high and approval is not guaranteed
- Retirement income cannot be used; applicants must apply for a Retirement Visa instead
➤ In Case of Soft Power Activities (Thai Culture) ▼
- Participation in activities or courses for at least 6 months
Examples of eligible courses:
- Thai Cooking Course (6–12 months)
- Thai cultural classes (e.g. traditional dance, handicrafts)
- Muay Thai Training Program
Required documents:
- Certification or acceptance letter from the school or organization
- Copy of the ID card of the authorized signatory
- Business license of the school or organization
- Proof of payment (official receipt)
- Course schedule
Note:
- When applying for an extension of stay, immigration officers may request evidence of actual participation, such as photos
➤ In Case of Medical Treatment ▼
Scope of treatment:
- Long-term medical treatments such as surgery, chronic disease treatment, rehabilitation, dental treatment with ongoing appointments, or wellness programs supervised by licensed doctors
Key conditions:
- The medical facility must be legally licensed
- A long-term treatment plan covering several months is required
- Treatment must be supervised by a licensed doctor
- General activities such as spa treatments, relaxation massage, yoga, or meditation without medical supervision are not accepted

- Medical certificate or confirmation letter from the hospital or clinic
- Copy of the ID card of the authorized signatory
- Business license of the medical facility
- Proof of payment for medical treatment
