(ต่างชาติ) พาสปอร์ตหายหรือหมดอายุ วีซ่าไทยจะถูกยกเลิกไหม?
ชาวต่างชาติที่เข้าไทยมาแล้ว ไม่ว่าจะด้วยวีซ่าอะไรก็ตาม ถ้าทำพาสปอร์ตหาย เสียหาย หรือ หมดอายุ ก็ไม่ต้องกังวล เพราะไม่ว่าจะเป็นตราประทับตอนเข้าไทย หรือวีซ่าทางออนไลน์ ไม่ได้ถูกยกเลิก ยังสามารถอยู่ในไทยตามวีซ่าที่ได้ได้เลย เพียงแต่เราต้องดำเนินการ “ย้ายตราประทับ (Transfer Stamp)” ลงในพาสปอร์ตเล่มใหม่เท่านั้น
แต่เพื่อป้องกันความยุ่งยากในการดำเนินการ ควรถ่ายรูปพาสปอร์ตและหน้าวีซ่าเก็บไว้ในมือถือหรือ Cloud เสมอ เพื่อความรวดเร็วหากเกิดเหตุฉุกเฉิน
ขั้นตอนแรกที่ต้องทำ
ไม่ว่าจะกรณีใด ให้ติดต่อสถานทูตของประเทศตนเองเพื่อทำพาสปอร์ตเล่มใหม่ก่อน:
- กรณีหมดอายุ / หน้ากระดาษเต็ม: ทำพาสปอร์ตเล่มใหม่ได้ทันที
- กรณีพาสปอร์ตหาย: ต้องมี “ใบแจ้งความ” จากสถานีตำรวจไปยืนยันกับสถานทูต

กรณีที่ 1: เปลี่ยนเล่มใหม่ (หมดอายุ / หน้าเต็ม)
เป็นการย้ายตราประทับจากเล่มเก่าสู่เล่มใหม่ ดำเนินการได้ค่อนข้างเร็ว
📄 เอกสารที่ต้องใช้:
- แบบคำขอ (ติดต่อรับที่ ตม.)
- หนังสือรับรองจากสถานทูต
- พาสปอร์ตเล่มเก่า + สำเนา
- พาสปอร์ตเล่มใหม่ + สำเนา
- สำเนาตราขาเข้าครั้งล่าสุด และสำเนาหน้าวีซ่า (ถ้ามี)
- สำเนาตราอนุญาตให้อยู่ต่อ (การต่อวีซ่าครั้งล่าสุด)
- บัตร ตม.6 (ขาออก) + สำเนา
📍 สถานที่ติดต่อ: ให้ไปที่ สำนักงาน ตม. เดิมที่เคยยื่นเรื่องล่าสุด เนื่องจากเจ้าหน้าที่มีฐานข้อมูลเดิมอยู่แล้ว จะช่วยให้การย้ายตราประทับรวดเร็วขึ้นปัญหาที่พบบ่อย: หากคุณเปิดบัญชีช้า หรือวีซ่าเหลืออายุไม่ถึง 2 เดือนนับจากวันที่เอาเงินเข้าบัญชี คุณจะ “ขาดคุณสมบัติ” ในการขออยู่ต่อทันที

กรณีที่ 2: พาสปอร์ตหาย (ต้องทำใหม่ + ค้นประวัติ)
กรณีนี้จะใช้เวลามากกว่าปกติ เพราะเจ้าหน้าที่ต้องตรวจสอบข้อมูลย้อนหลังอย่างละเอียด
📄 เอกสารที่ต้องใช้:
- แบบคำขอ
- ใบแจ้งความจากสถานีตำรวจ
- พาสปอร์ตเล่มใหม่
- หนังสือจากสถานทูต (ขอความอนุเคราะห์ให้ ตม. ย้ายตราประทับเข้าเล่มใหม่)
- สำเนาพาสปอร์ตเล่มเก่า (ถ้ามี จะช่วยให้หาข้อมูลง่ายขึ้นมาก)
📍 ขั้นตอนการดำเนินงาน: เจ้าหน้าที่จะตรวจสอบข้อมูล เช่น ชื่อ-นามสกุล, เลขพาสปอร์ตเดิม, วันที่เดินทางเข้าไทย และเที่ยวบิน หากข้อมูลถูกต้องจะดำเนินการดังนี้:
กรณีอยู่ระหว่างรอผลวีซ่า: ต้องไปติดต่อแผนกที่ยื่นเรื่องไว้ เพื่อใส่ตราอนุญาตให้อยู่ต่อ
ประทับตราขาเข้าใหม่ ลงในเล่มใหม่

Foreigners in Thailand regardless of visa type can rest easy if their passport is lost, damaged, or expired. Your entry stamp and electronic visa (e-Visa) are not canceled. You are still legally permitted to stay in Thailand according to your original visa’s validity.

First Step: Contact Your Embassy
Regardless of the situation, you must contact your embassy to get a new passport first:
- Expired / Full Pages: You can apply for a new passport immediately.
- Lost Passport: You must get a Police Report before applying for a new passport at your embassy.

This is a straightforward process of moving stamps from the old book to the new one.

- Application Form (available at Immigration)
- Certification letter from your Embassy
- Old passport + Copy
- New passport + Copy
- Copy of your latest Arrival Stamp
- Copy of your Visa page (if applicable)
- Copy of your latest Extension of Stay stamp
- TM.6 Card (Departure Card) + Copy
📍 Where to go: Contact the Immigration Office where you last filed your stay. Since they have your records in their system, the transfer will be much faster.

Case 2: Lost Passport (Replacement + Record Search)
This process takes longer because officers must manually verify your entry history in the database.
📄 Required Documents:
- Application Form
- Police Report (Original)
- New passport
- Letter from your Embassy (requesting Immigration to transfer the entry stamp)
- Copy of your old passport (If you have one, it will speed up the search significantly)
📍 The Process: Officers will verify your details (Full name, old passport number, arrival date, and flight number).
Pending Extensions: If your passport was lost while waiting for a visa extension result, you must visit that specific department to receive your “Permission to Stay” stamp.
New Entry Stamp: Once verified, they will place a new arrival stamp in your new book.
