อยากพาแฟนต่างชาติมาอยู่ไทย แต่ไม่ได้จดทะเบียนสมรส… ทำได้ไหม?
หากยังไม่ได้จดทะเบียนสมรส ก็ยังสามารถพาแฟนมาอยู่ไทยได้ โดยใช้สิทธิเข้าไทยแบบฟรีวีซ่าหรือวีซ่าท่องเที่ยว และเดินทางเข้า-ออกตามระยะเวลาที่กฎหมายกำหนด อย่างไรก็ตาม หากเข้าไทยหลายรอบติดต่อกัน อาจถูกเจ้าหน้าที่ ตม. สอบถามเหตุผลในการเดินทาง และไม่มีการรับประกันว่าจะได้รับอนุญาตให้เข้าประเทศทุกครั้ง หากมีแผนจะใช้ชีวิตอยู่ไทยระยะยาว การจดทะเบียนสมรสจะช่วยให้สามารถขอวีซ่าหรือขออยู่ต่อในฐานะคู่สมรสได้ ซึ่งสิทธินี้ไม่สามารถใช้ได้หากเป็นเพียงแฟนกัน

◼ วิธีเดินทางเข้าไทย:
- ขอ Tourist Visa (TR): ยื่นออนไลน์ผ่านระบบ Thai e-Visa ก่อนบิน ได้สิทธิ์อยู่ 60 วัน และยื่นขอต่อที่ ตม. ในไทยได้อีก 30 วัน (รวมเป็น 90 วัน)
- ใช้วีซ่าฟรี (Free Visa): ได้สิทธิ์อยู่ 30 วัน และยื่นขอต่อที่ ตม. ได้อีก 30 วัน (รวมเป็น 60 วัน)
- ใช้วีซ่าฟรีรอบที่ 2: ได้สิทธิ์ 30 วัน และขอต่ออายุตามกฎใหม่ได้อีกเพียง 7 วัน (รวมเป็น 37 วัน)
◼ ข้อควรระวัง: หากเข้า-ออกประเทศบ่อยเกินไป (ตั้งแต่รอบที่ 3 เป็นต้นไป) เจ้าหน้าที่ ตม. จะเริ่มเพ่งเล็งว่าเป็นกลุ่ม “วีซ่ารัน” เพื่ออาศัยอยู่ถาวร ซึ่งมีความเสี่ยงที่จะ ถูกปฏิเสธไม่ให้เข้าประเทศ ได้ครับ
⬩➤2. อยู่ยาว 5 ปีด้วย DTV Visa (Destination Thailand Visa) ▼
◼ ระยะเวลา: วีซ่ามีอายุ 5 ปี (ประทับตราอยู่ได้ครั้งละ 6 เดือน สามารถยื่นต่อในไทยได้อีก 6 เดือน เท่ากับว่าต้องบินออกนอกประเทศอย่างน้อยปีละ 1 ครั้ง)
◼ เงื่อนไขสำคัญ:
- มีเงินฝากในบัญชีธนาคารไม่ต่ำกว่า 500,000 บาท (แช่ไว้อย่างน้อย 3 เดือน)
- ยื่นขอออนไลน์ผ่าน Thai e-Visa จากนอกประเทศไทยเท่านั้น
- ต้องทำงานแบบ Remote Work ได้จริง: ต้องเป็นงานที่ทำใหักับบริษัทต่างชาติ (ห้ามทำงานให้บริษัทหรือร้านค้าในไทย) โดยมีเอกสารรับรองจากนายจ้างชัดเจน
- หมายเหตุ: เจ้าของธุรกิจต่างชาติที่มีหลักฐานบริษัทชัดเจน และสั่งงานผ่านออนไลน์ได้ มักจะมีโอกาสผ่านง่ายกว่าครับ
⬩➤ 3. วีซ่าเกษียณ (Non-O Retirement) ▼
สำหรับคู่ไหนที่แฟนต่างชาติ อายุ 50 ปีขึ้นไป วิธีนี้คือทางออกที่ดีที่สุดโดยไม่ต้องจดทะเบียนสมรสครับ
◼ เงื่อนไขสำคัญ:
- มีเงินในบัญชีธนาคาร 800,000 บาท
- ยื่นขอวีซ่าออนไลน์จากประเทศต้นทางเพื่อเดินทางเข้าไทย (ได้สิทธิ์ 90 วันแรก)
- เมื่อมาถึงไทย ให้เปิดบัญชีธนาคารไทย โอนเงิน 800,000 บาทเข้ามาแช่ไว้ 2 เดือน แล้วยื่นขอต่ออายุวีซ่า

Can I Move to Thailand with My Partner Without Getting Married?
Even if you aren’t legally married, your partner can stay in Thailand using tourist visas or visa exemptions by following the entry limits. However, frequent consecutive entries may lead to Immigration questioning, with no guarantee of approval every time. For long-term living, getting legally married enables them to apply for a Spouse Visa, an option not available to unmarried couples. Here are the main visa options available and what you need to know:
⬩➤ 1. Short-Term Stay (Tourist Visas & Visa Exemptions) ▼
This route works if you only plan to stay temporarily, but it is not a sustainable solution for permanent living.
◼ Maximum Stay: Up to 187 days per calendar year (around 6 months).
◼ How it works:
- Tourist Visa (TR): Apply online via the Thai e-Visa portal before traveling to get a 60-day stay, which you can extend at a local Thai Immigration office for an additional 30 days (90 days total).
- Visa Exemption: Gives you an initial 30-day stay, extendable at Immigration for another 30 days (60 days total).
- Second Visa Exemption: Grants a 30-day stay, but under current rules, can only be extended for 7 days (37 days total).
◼ Important Warning: Re-entering Thailand frequently (3 times or more in a short period) will flag you at Immigration for “Visa Running.” You face a serious risk of being denied entry into the country.
⬩➤ 2. 5-Year Stay via the DTV (Destination Thailand Visa)▼
This is a popular option if you are under 50 and unmarried, but it requires you to meet specific employment criteria.
◼ Duration: Valid for 5 years (allows a 6-month stay per entry, extendable once inside Thailand for another 6 months—meaning you must leave the country at least once a year).
◼ Key Requirements:
- Proof of at least 500,000 THB (or foreign currency equivalent) in a bank account held for at least 3 months.
- Must apply online via Thai e-Visa from outside Thailand.
- Must be a genuine Remote Worker: You must work for a company based outside of Thailand (not a Thai company) and provide official employment documentation.
- Note: Business owners with verified overseas operations and remote management setups generally have a higher approval rate.
⬩➤ 3. Non-O Retirement Visa ▼
If you are 50 years old or older, this is the most straightforward long-term option that does not require marriage.
◼ Key Requirements:
- Proof of 800,000 THB in savings or qualifying regular income.
- Apply online from your home country for an initial 90-day visa.
