วีซ่าท่องเที่ยว / ฟรีวีซ่า

• หากเข้าไทยมาด้วยฟรีวีซ่า (Visa Exemption) จะอยู่ไทยได้ 60 วัน และสามารถขอต่ออายุได้อีก 30 วัน รวม 90 วัน (➡เข้าไทยแบบฟรีวีซ่า อยู่ได้กี่วัน)
  
• หากขอวีซ่าท่องเที่ยวก่อนเข้าไทย (TR Visa) จะได้ 60 วัน และสามารถต่อเพิ่มได้อีก 30 วัน รวม 90 วัน

• จะเห็นว่าฟรีวีซ่า กับ วีซ่าท่องเที่ยว ระยะเวลาการพำนักไม่ต่างกัน เพราะเมื่อก่อนฟรีวีซ่าได้ 30 วัน แต่ปัจจุบันไทยต้องการต่างชาติเข้ามามากขึ้นจึงมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงชั่วคราว ฉะนั้นในอนาคตฟรีวีซ่าอาจจะไม่ใช่ 60 วันก็ได้

• การขออยู่ต่อไม่ต้องแสดงหลักฐานการเงิน เพียงแค่จ่ายค่าธรรมเนียมก็สามารถอยู่ต่อได้อีก 30 วันแล้ว

• ปัจจุบันหลังจากมีข่าวเรื่องสแกมเมอร์แพร่หลายธนาคารไทยเข้มงวดในการเปิดบัญชีมากขึ้นทำให้ผู้ถือวีซ่าท่องเที่ยว/ฟรีวีซ่า ไม่สามารถเปิดบัญชีไทยได้

วีซ่าคู่สมรส (Non-O Spouse/Family Visa)

🟢ระยะเวลาอยู่ในไทย:

• เมื่อเข้าไทยมาแล้วจะอยู่ได้เบื้องต้น 90 วัน
• หลังจากนั้นสามารถขอต่ออายุวีซ่าได้อีก 1 ปี (รวมเป็น 1 ปี 3 เดือน)
• ขออยู่ต่อได้เรื่อยๆ ทุกปีโดยไม่ต้องออกจากไทย

🔴 เงื่อนไขสำคัญ:

• ต้องมี ทะเบียนสมรสกับคนไทย ที่ถูกต้องตามกฎหมาย
• มี หลักฐานการเงิน อย่างใดอย่างหนึ่ง
  • เงินฝากในบัญชีไทยอย่างน้อย 400,000 บาท
  • หรือ รายได้ประจำ 40,000 บาท/เดือน ขึ้นไป

• จำกัดจำนวนครั้ง: มีการจำกัดจำนวนครั้งในการเข้าประเทศ ถ้าคุณอยู่เต็มจำนวนวันที่ได้รับอนุญาตทุกครั้ง
• เข้าบ่อยอยู่นาน: คนที่เดินทางเข้าไทยบ่อยๆ และอยู่นานๆ จะถูกจับตาดูเป็นพิเศษ
• ไม่อนุญาตให้เปลี่ยนวีซ่า: เจ้าหน้าที่ ตม. ส่วนใหญ่ปฏิเสธที่จะเปลี่ยนประเภทวีซ่าภายในประเทศ (เช่น เปลี่ยนจากฟรีวีซ่าเป็นวีซ่า Non-O) ถึงแม้ว่าในทางกฎหมายจะยังสามารถทำได้ก็ตาม

Tourist Visa / Visa Exemption

• If you enter Thailand under the Visa Exemption program, you can stay for 60 days, and it’s possible to extend your stay for another 30 days, making it a total of 90 days.

• If you apply for a Tourist Visa (TR Visa) before coming to Thailand, you will also be allowed to stay for 60 days and can extend it for another 30 days, for a total of 90 days.

• As you can see, the stay duration for both visa types is currently the same. In the past, the visa exemption allowed only 30 days, but since Thailand wants to attract more foreign visitors, it has been temporarily extended. This means the 60-day visa exemption might change again in the future.

• To extend your stay, you don’t need to show any financial proof — just pay the extension fee, and you can stay for another 30 days.

• However, due to recent scams and stricter banking policies, Thai banks no longer allow people with tourist visas or visa exemptions to open bank accounts.

Non-O Spouse/Family Visa

🟢 Duration of stay:

• After entering Thailand, you will first get 90 days of stay.
• After that, you can extend for 1 year, making it a total of 1 year and 3 months.
• You can keep extending it every year without leaving Thailand.

🔴 Main requirements:

• A legally registered marriage with a Thai citizen.
• Financial proof, either:
  • 400,000 THB in a Thai bank account, or
  • A monthly income of at least 40,000 THB.

• Limited Entries: They are limiting how many times you can enter if you always stay for the full allowed period.
• Frequent Travelers: People who visit Thailand often and stay for a long time are being watched closely.
• Visa Changes Denied: Most immigration officers now refuse to change your visa type inside Thailand (e.g., changing from a free visa to a Non-O visa), even though it is still technically allowed by law.
